My name is Nicole, and I’m a Denver-based wedding and portrait photographer.
My shooting style
After studying journalism in college and through various internships and freelance gigs, I really developed a love for journalistic-style photography.
I prefer to photograph clients with this style in mind because it really allows their personality to shine through in the photos. Not to mention, it’s way more fun for clients to run around and laugh then it is for them to stand there trying as hard as they can to hold a smile!
I was a bride once too. Not all that long ago actually, and I was on the hunt for all of the prettiest wedding details I could find. But, above all else (yes, above the dress, flowers, cake, venue, etc.) I wanted an amazing photographer.
I knew that no matter how beautiful the flowers, how delicious the cake or how stunning the dress, they wouldn’t be able to tell the story of our beautiful day in 50 years like the pictures would.
I understand the desire to have breathtaking photos that capture each detail of your special day. And, I know that a picture is worth a thousand words, which is why I will strive to leave you with a timeless photographic novel – the greatest story of you.
When I’m not working I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my two sweet babies, Amelia and Colton, and my amazing husband, Justin; exploring our gorgeous state and all its wonders; planting herbs and flowers in my garden; and trying out (or creating) new, healthy recipes. I also enjoy the occasional micro-brew or bloody mary, just as long as it’s outdoors on a patio!
